How it all began
Why We Built STROLLL
We believe rehabilitation should feel engaging, accessible, and empowering for both patients and clinicians.
In 2018, Strolll started with something simple.
A son, Tom, watching his father Nigel struggle with vascular dementia and Parkinsonism, including freezing of gait.
During rehab, an NHS neurophysiotherapist introduced a technique using coloured lines on the floor as a visual cue.
Something shifted.
With a few coloured Therabands laid out across the kitchen floor, Nigel was able to step forward and walk again.
It was a small moment, but it changed everything.
Tom had a simple idea.
What if those visual cues didn’t have to be set up each time?
What if they could appear anywhere, whenever they were needed?
From that idea, Strolll was born.
Today, Strolll brings visual cueing, movement, and progression into the real environment through augmented reality, helping clinicians deliver more engaging and effective neuro rehabilitation.
